The device should be located on the left side of the animal and with the letters facing forward. When we look at the animal, we should see the equipment located on the right with the identifier of the visible device correctly oriented for reading and the number of the animal’s ear tag. The encapsulation, light and ergonomic, is also designed to be resistant and durable, it will be your animal’s best friend.

What happens if the device comes into contact with water?

Our device is not only protected against splashing water, it is also absolutely waterproof. We have obtained an IP67 standard, therefore, dust must not enter under any circumstances, it is also water resistant (up to 1 meter deep and 30 minutes). As a result, the digitanimal device is suitable for water-loving animals and, of course, can be used in the rain.

Temperature sensor

The device has a temperature probe that allows measuring the surface temperature of the animal. Through the application, you can know the temperature of your animal at any time, and from anywhere.

Why do the identifiers of some animals appear in green and others in yellow?

The application automatically detects possible anomalies of your animals and automatically displays the identifiers in yellow. The status indicators on the right side of the app, display the parameters of the animal (surface temperature, activity, distance traveled and position on the farm).

How do we measure the activity?

We are able to evaluate the activity of the animal through algorithms that evaluate the data gathered from the different sensors included in the device.

What happens if I do not have mobile coverage in the search area of my animals?

In that case it is recommended to look for them in a place where there is internet connectivity and do not close the application. In this way, the last position of the animals will be stored in your mobile device.

Sigfox network connection

It is the best option, since it extends the battery life and is designed specifically for IoT devices.

GSM network connection

It is the most popular global network for mobile communications. We have a multi-operator connectivity in order to obtain the greatest possible coverage.

Battery information

How long does the battery last?

The battery  life depends on the type of device and the software and hardware features, we can achieve a duration of more than a year. For small devices we also offer small rechargeable as well as non-rechargeable batteries.

Device Information

Is the device resistant?

The encapsulation, light and ergonomic, is also designed to be resistant and durable, it will be your animal’s best friend.

What happens if the device comes into contact with water?

We have devices an IP67 standard, therefore, dust must not enter under any circumstances, it is also water resistant (up to 1 meter deep and 30 minutes). 

Temperature sensor

We have devices with temperature probe that allows measuring the surface temperature of the animal.

Advanced control

Can I have several devices in the same user account?

Yes, as many as you want.

Ways of access to the application of digitanimal?

We have apps available for Android, iOs and web application.

Can I access the application through several devices at the same time?

Yes, you can control your animals from your different devices, and also at the same time.

Can I see the track the animals have made?

Yes, for the last 24 hours. Sí, podemos disponer de recorridos, por ejemplo, de las últimas 24 horas. We also have different heat maps, for example, monthly heat maps.

Can I get all the data of my animals?

Yes, under request you can have them in a CSV file (compatible with Excel). Ask us here

How do we measure the activity?

We are able to evaluate the activity of the animal through algorithms that evaluate the data gathered from the different sensors included in the device.
